Merry Christmas and Happy New Year

Living Water Teaching Ministries would like to wish you and yours a very Merry Christmas and a blessed and prosperous New Year.

When we look back at all God has done through the ministry this year, we can't help but to rejoice in all His goodness and grace. As we now celebrate the birth of His son, Jesus, we know that if it had not been for that ultimate gift, we would have nothing to celebrate at all.

Through your financial giving, prayers, encouragement, and participation in our mission trips, you have been a huge part right alongside us, this year.  You get credit for all that has been accomplished for the Kingdom, as well.  THANK YOU for helping us take the Word of God to Central and South America and bless the nationals!

We would like to share a few highlights that have happened in the last few months and again, we give God ALL the glory and praise!

We wanted to share the exciting report from the October medical and evangelistic campaign.  We had an awesome team of 19 from the US who met up with our Guatemala missionaries, staff, and Bible School students.
The doctors treated 1326, the dentists treated 157, and 549 eye exams were done, making a total of 2032 patients seen over 2 ½ days.  Every person went through the prayer area and had one on one time with our prayer team and were ministered to. We saw 445 receive Jesus and 4 reconciliations, praise the Lord.  It was a wonderful campaign.

On November 7th. all of our country directors (minus Belize) gathered together in Guatemala for our International Directors meeting.  This is a meeting that is held every other year and is set around the November seminar and Bible School graduation in Guatemala.  A total of 10 countries were represented this year.  This is a time for us to rest, laugh, encourage, pray, and enjoy time together.  Each director shared about the exciting things going on in each of their countries and also on projects that are already in motion or to be praying over for the future. A few supporters from the US sent finances to purchase gift items and some sent in gifts to be presented to each director; they were so excited and blessed to receive these gifts.  Thank you!

One of the most exciting times of the year for us is our Bible School graduation.  On November 12th, we had this year's graduation and it was a truly joyous experience. It was so exciting to watch 156 on campus students and 309 students from our extension schools walk across the platform.  We witnessed 465 world changers take the next step forward in fulfilling the call of God on their lives.

On December 2nd, we had 36 group members join us from the US in Guatemala to meet up with our ministry team for the Operation Shoebox outreach.  Approximately 6,500 adults and children were ministered to.  4,370 shoeboxes were distributed in 9 locations.  3,500 received Jesus as their Lord and Savior.  There are distributions still happening in Guatemala, Panama, Nicaragua and Haiti, so be watching for more upcoming updates.
We are already planning next year's Shoebox collections so be watching for more specific details in the near future.  THANK YOU to all who participated with your finances, bulk items, shoeboxes, prayers, and coming on the shoebox trip!

Our orphanage on the Bible school campus, The Promised Home, is opened and we are in the process of hiring workers to help.  The inauguration will be on the 15th of January and shortly afterwards we should be receiving children.  There are so many children living without parents, love, care, good food, and trusting that an inviting place opens for them to live.  We desire to be that place.  We are receiving children 0-5 years of age to train them up in the things of God.  Of course, we are open to receive other children that need a home and someone to love and care for them.  If you would like to partner with the Promised Home, please see below how to donate online or send your love gifts to our U.S. office:   Living Water Teaching, P.O. Box 1190, Caddo Mills, TX 75135 and write "Orphanage" on the memo line of your check.
